We are a group of Ford enthusiasts from the Las Vegas, Nevada area founded in 2005 to bring together people who share a love for the Zetec, Duratec and Ti-VCT GDI platforms and seek others with a similar appreciation to join us.

Though the main car of our club is the Ford Focus and is the preferred vehicle, we also welcome anyone with a general love of cars and a good all around attitude to join us.

Prospective members will go through a probation period. During this time, they will be required to do the following.

-2 modifications (performance and/or visual) should be installed.

(We will allow members with no modifications if they express enough interest.)

-attend as many meetings and/or activities as possible.

-all rules set for existing members must be followed.

After 2 meetings and/or activities have been attended, a prospective member will be considered to become an official member.

-new members must first be approved by one of the Co-Founders, Ryan Frei or Mario Iocolano.

-after approval, a majority agreement of existing members will determine if the prospective member will be accepted.

(It’s more of a ‘hey, do you guys think So-and-So should be a member?’)

All members of Focal Distortion are expected to follow these guidelines .

-meetings and events should be attended as regularly as  possible, but we understand if you can’t make them all.

-verbal or physical conflicts of a serious nature at meetings will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the club.

-anyone caught at the illegal street races will be immediately banned from Focal Distortion.

-please keep your car clean and presentable, you are representing the club after all.

-if a scheduled meeting or event cannot be attended, please notify the person hosting the event, it’s common courtesy.

-club leaders are not exempt from any of these rules, if they should break any of the rules, do NOT assume it is ok.

-have fun, be safe, and mod like crazy.

Remember, most of these rules are not only set in place to keep us somewhat organized, but to build and maintain a good image with the public and with law enforcement; we don't want or need any unnecessary trouble.  If you can’t abide by these simple rules, we don’t need you in the club.
